CCMS Penny Wars is March 1st - 12th
Don’t forget that this week is our last week for our Cypress Creek Middle School Penny Wars! The winning class will not only get a free ice cream party but will also get the opportunity to duct tape me to a column in the courtyard! That is right, each student from the winning class will get free ice cream and piece of duct tape. Which class has the most school spirit!? Funds raised by this fundraiser will go towards incentives, awards, and recognition to both our students and staff. Be sure to bring your pennies and dollar bills to support your own grade level and drop silver to beat your competing grade levels. The winning class will be announced upon return from Spring Break.
Hat Pass Fundraiser for Students!
To raise money for our student recognition fund we will be conducting a fundraiser where students can pay $10 to purchase a "Hat Pass" that will allow them to wear a hat every Friday for the remainder of the school year.
Students can purchase their "Hat Pass" online using Rycor or they can purchase it during lunches. Once students purchase their pass they will receive a laminated pass that will prove their purchase and participation in the fundraiser.

Overpass Detour
Wesley Chapel, FL -- The section of Overpass Road between Old Pasco Road and Boyette Road is scheduled to close to all traffic beginning Monday morning, February 8, 2021. The road is expected to be closed for approximately one year as the existing bridge over I-75 is removed and a new bridge is constructed. The work is part of the $64 million project to build a new interchange at Overpass Road and I-75.
DETOUR ROUTE: A signed detour will direct traffic around the closed section of Overpass Road using Old Pasco Road, Wesley Chapel Boulevard (CR 54/SR 54), and Vandine Road/Boyette Road.
Visit https://www.fdottampabay.com/project/457/432734-2-52-01 for project updates and to sign up to receive email alerts.
