All Month: Scholastic Book Giveaway
Save all the 400 Club Bookmarks turned in during the month of February. At the end of the month, each classroom will draw one winner who will receive $10 to spend on a Scholastic book order.
All Month: Drop Everything and Read (DEAR)
One day each week will be a “Drop Everything and Read” day. Students will be told during morning announcements if it is a DEAR day. When the announcement is made on the intercom, they will stop whatever they are doing and read for a time determined by their teacher.
Tuesday, February 12: Dress-up Day
Invite your students to come to school dressed as their favorite book character.
Friday, February 15: Barnes and Noble Gift Card Drawing
Sometime before this day, give each of your students one ticket for every bookmark they have turned in. Teachers will bring all of their class tickets to the office and put them in the jar and ten students will be drawn to win a $10 Barnes and Noble gift card. Gift cards will be announced and delivered on Monday, February 18.
Thursday, February 21: Traveling Treasure Box
Teachers will pick two students that will earn a prize from the Treasure Chest.
