Construction Work
TZ Parents and Staff,
The City of Greencastle is doing some road construction work at the TZ entrance. Please take extra caution when entering and exiting the TZ drive due to heavy equipment that is adjacent to the drive. This construction work should alleviate the standing water/drainage issues that have been occurring at the TZ entrance recently. Please be aware that the speed limit is 20.
Respectfully,
Mr. Strube

Puttin' on the Hits Date Changes
Puttin' On the Hits Families,
Shortly before Christmas we became aware that some remodeling efforts planned for Parker Auditorium over Spring Break would potentially not finish in time for our Puttin' On the Hits program scheduled for April 7th & 8th. We began working with Mr. Hubble in an attempt to negotiate a different schedule, extra shifts, or weekend hours for the group that has been contracted for this effort. We also pursued alternate venues, hoping to retain the same date and times that we had originally communicated for the program. We had full hope that one of these avenues would result in good news.
Despite the diligence, as of today we have exhausted all possible options for keeping the current plan for the Puttin' On the Hits program, and must announce a rescheduled date.
The Puttin' On the Hits public performances will be held on April 29th at Parker Auditorium. That moves the student performance to April 28th, and dress rehearsal back to April 26th.
We have adjusted the schedule for the entire program, beginning with the Registration Deadline next week, adding approximately 2 weeks for each milestone. Please see the revised schedule of events related to POTH below.
Thanks,
Angela Huff

Volunteer in the Classroom or Field Trip--Need Background Check On File--Good for One Year
At TZ we appreciate parents/guardians that would like to volunteer to assist in the classrooms and/or go on field trips. As a part of any volunteer activity, we must have a cleared background check on file for each person wanting to assist here at school or accompany a class on a field trip.
I wanted to take time to clarify the limited/volunteer background checks. These background checks are free to our volunteers. A limited/volunteer background check is only good for one calendar year. If a volunteer wishes to continue volunteering after one year, they must submit a new application.
A link to the form that needs to be completed and turned in to the TZ office is below. You may also come by the school to complete the form. We do need to have a copy of your driver’s license to process the request.
Again, we appreciate your willingness to volunteer.
Mr. Strube
