What is it?

Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollution in cities. When ozone forms air pollution, it's also called smog" So to summarize that Air pollution is a harmful mix of solid particles such as bits of trash or ash and gases such as car emmisions.

Whats going into my lungs?

Some air pollutants are poisonous. Inhaling them can increase the chance you'll have health problems. People with heart or lung disease, older adults and children are at greater risk from air pollution. Air pollutants lower age expactancy for those who breathe them in, we are killing ourselves and all other inhabitants of earth

Air pollution affects more then air.

Everything is surrounded by air, having dirty air can muck up everything in the ecosystems for us and animals.

How can we stop it?

You can help stop air pollution by turning off things youre not using, use energy efficent lightbulbs, particape in local energy conservation programs, car pool, combine errands and use youre automobile in a safe efficent way.
