Cougar Courier

Greetings from Dr. G!

August 10, 2019

It has been a busy week at CIA! Many of our fall sports kicked off this week, but there is still time to register your scholar. Remember, all registrations must be completed online at FamilyID.com. There is also a $20 required fee for insurance. All scholars must have the insurance fee paid for them to participate in sports.

Our spirit wear store is now open. Students can wear any CIA shirt in place of a uniform shirt. Make sure you check out our flyer in this week's Courier.

On Wednesday, August 14, the school's office will be closed from 8:00-11:00. Everyone will be attending the kickoff celebration at Four Winds Field.

Our maintenance staff has been working diligently to make sure the school building is ready for the first day of school, and we want to thank them for all they do. Be sure to check out the spotlight on our maintenance staff later in the Cougar Courier.

The construction crew is still working on Phase II of the renovations, and we are excited for you to see the changes. Thank you for everyone's patience during the construction; we know it has been challenging!

As we prepare to begin the school year, I want to encourage everyone to think about ways we can build a love for reading. We want every child to be a super reader, and we know that 20 minutes of reading at home is key! CIA will be celebrating reading everyday, and we hope you can join us in making sure every child is a super reader.

Have a safe weekend, and we will see you on Thursday, August 15!

Blessings,

Dr. Garcia
