Una nota de la Sra. Larson/ A note from Mrs. Larson
I hope you had a wonderful three-day weekend spending time with your family. In light of the tragedy in Texas, I have spent the last couple of days processing and looking at ways that we can improve safety at McKinley. We are lucky that we are a closed campus during the school day. The staff and I are sitting down this week to look over the safety of the campus and what improvements. Thank you for trusting your children with us.
We have nine school days left. Pay attention to the calendar there is a lot happening. Please note this is the last week of Boys and Girls club aftercare. Mckinley TK/ K program continues till next Thursday there is no care on the last day of school. The last day of school is lots of fun we have field day activities and Kona ice is here to serve some awesome treats. Everyone gets out at 12:20. Please note this only happens twice a year. The day we get out for winter break and the last day of school. What does this mean? Traffic is horrible. Please plan accordingly. I suggest you park at the fairgrounds and walk over. It is so much easier!!!!
Have a great week!
Warm Regards,
Mrs. Larson

Hello McKinley/PACS Families,
As you may know, the PTA is participating in the National PTA School of Excellence Program this year. School of Excellence is a designation offered by National PTA to recognize schools that seek to grow partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students.
Would you please take five minutes to complete this anonymous survey before May 31? Thank you!
