OHS Career Fair - Wednesday, April 26
Our Business Concepts classes are hosting a career fair on Wednesday, April 26th which is also our April 11:30 dismissal day. More details will be provided as the date approaches. All juniors and seniors will be invited to attend. For planning purposes, please put this event on your calendar. Invitations will begin being sent next week. Students are being asked for input on areas of interest and school subjects in which they excel that relate to careers. Our goal is to have breakout sessions in the morning for students to attend where they can learn more about those careers. These sessions will be hosted by area professionals in those specific fields of interest. If you have suggestions on which businesses, organizations or industries that should be included and/or represented, please reach out to Mrs. Brant.
Thank you to our educational partnerships that support the whole child of Oakwood CUSD #76.

Spotlight: Oakwood Community Education Foundation - Thank you!!!
Thank you to the OCEF Board for your support for education and your mission to provide resources for our students and teachers to enhance their learning environment and opportunities. You make great things happen for Oakwood Schools.
We are continuously exploring and working on the following multi-pronged approach. Focusing on district and athletic facilities. The three areas of focus are:
Land study, with the purpose of identifying what land may be available to Oakwood for building purposes, and also what current assets would be worth if sold.
- Facility study, with the purpose of collecting information regarding district facilities to determine adequacy and feasibility.
Finance study, with the purpose of determining how much money would be necessary for capital project improvements, and how it would be generated and/or financed.
