Geography of Southern Africa

1. Namib Desert
The Namib Desert is located on the southeast side of the Africa continent. It is an important source of water for the plants and animals around it.
2. Cape of Good Hope
The cape of Good Hope is the southern most point of Africa. It is used a navigational way to find your way around the ocean and bay.
3. Johannesburgh
Johannesburg is a group of suburbs that used to be a colony.It is known for introducing the idea of an urban city.
4. Zambezi River
The Zambezi river is important because it provides electricity with hydroelectric power. It also lets tourist travel on it and see the waterfalls. This earns them money, and improves their economy.
5. Limpopo River
The Limpopo river is what waters the agriculture near by. The food they grow is then sold to earn them money, the need the Limpopo River.
6. Lusaka
Lusaka is a fast growing city in Zambia, not the largest. They are the first to realize people rights, and put them into their justice system.
7. Kalahari Desert
The Kalahari Desert benefits and keeps alive plants and animals. It also provides shelter for all of the animals.
8. Cabinda Exclave
The Cabinda Exclave rain forest is located in Angola and the home to 200,000 animals. It also provides people with natural resources that can be manufactured in to products. These products can be sold to earn money and improve the economy.
9. Orange River
The orange river is used annually by birds every year when migrating to different hemispheres. It also help green agriculture grow in its surrounding areas.
10. Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is located on the Zambezi River. It attracts many tourist, which gives income to Zambia and Zimbabwe because the falls are on the border of the two countries.
