Camp in Motion is a four day long experience for 6-8th graders to explore and DO science, technology, engineering, art, and math in real life. For 4 days, students will work in teams to build the ultimate soapbox derby racer, and at the end of the week compete against other teams in an epic final race..
S.T.E.A.M. Focused
Science: Grapple with the physics of acceleration and motion
Technology: Use historic and modern tools to design and build
Engineering: Draft and refine your ideas using computer software
Art: Use graphic design to make banners to represent your team
Math: Figure out how to make it all work
