Resurrection-St. Paul School
Encounter Christ's Presence - Year of the Eucharist
March 13, 2022
It wouldn't be Maryland without one last gasp from winter. With daylight savings starting today, weather warming up this week, and the official start of spring next weekend, hopefully you can put away your winter gear and teachers can all breath a sigh of relief not to have indoor recess.
Donuts with dads (or another adult/parent figure) starts tomorrow morning at 8 AM for last names beginning with A-D. Please remain with your child(ren) throughout the duration of the morning until they are dismissed. Unlike in the past, dads/adults will not travel with your child/children to the classroom. Students will be dismissed to their classrooms on their own around 8:40 AM and then you are welcome to leave. The caveat is for the preschool where PK dads/adults will be allowed to walk their child to their classroom. Please park near the parish center and be careful as you escort your child(ren) into the cafeteria entrance. We look forward to seeing you this week.
This is a friendly reminder that PantherFest 2022 (3/26) is less than two weeks away and you can still purchase tickets here. This is an adults only night out to gather together for fellowship, fun, and to support RSPS. We hope to see you there!
Don't forget that there is no school on Friday. Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Ryan Hellem

PantherFest tickets on sale NOW through 3/17/22, Don't miss out!
What is PantherFest? RSPS decided 3 years ago to rebrand its annual Gala into a more relaxed social event...an adults only casual night out where you can meet and socialize with others within the RSPS community. You do not need to dress up, jeans are great. This is not a sit down dinner event with assigned table seating, instead expect heavy appetizer stations, a large selection of beer and wine, DJ, 50/50 game, money wheel games and silent auction. Jason Williams, RSPS Parent and General Manager of Oliver Brewing Co., will have a beer tasting station set up in the lounge area where college basketball fans can watch March Madness games. Last but not least, PantherFest is a fundraising event for our wonderful school! Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.resstpaul.org/news/maryland-my-maryland-gala
One More Thing...If you own a business or know someone who does, please consider donating to our silent auction. All donated items are 100% tax deductible. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
RSPS Spirit Store - Check out the RSPS Spirit Store and show your Panther pride. Items can be customized for individual names, sports, and clubs. These make great gifts during the holiday season and part of the proceeds go back to the HSA. Although these are not part of the uniform, we will have two spirit days in school on 1/21 and 3/7.
IF YOUR CHILD(REN) WILL BE ABSENT FROM SCHOOL - Please either complete the absentee form found on our website or leave a message on our attendance line (410)-461-9111 x 250.

Playground Supervisors - Looking for ways to get involved? Help our faculty and staff during recess time! Playground supervisors work with faculty, staff and administration to ensure that the school's health and safety rules are followed as well as interact with students and encourage appropriate play and student behavior. Please review the available slots below for Grades 2-6 and click on the button to sign up. Volunteers are always welcome for the other grades as well. Thank you!
