ECHS Class of 2021

Big picture

National Merit Recognitions

We are pleased acknowledge TWO of our Early College High School Seniors who have received National Merit Recognitions:

National Merit Semi-Finalist: Connor Gonzalez - Senior

National Merit Commended Scholar: Chloe Rech - Senior

Both students were acknowledged within this Round Rock ISD News for their hard work!

We will continue to acknowledge them within our social media platforms. In addition, we are planning a very small, safe, on campus recognition ceremony to recognize both students with their families.

FAFSA opens Oct 1. Seniors encouraged to apply early, with free help

EVERY graduating Senior should fill out the FAFSA® (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) regardless of income, GPA, or even if they’re still evaluating their postsecondary options.

The FAFSA opens Oct. 1. There is no fee to apply.

When a student files the FAFSA, they may become eligible for scholarships or grants (based on need and merit), work-study programs or low-interest loans. Some of the most beneficial financial aid funds are first-come, first-served. Students are twice as likely to receive financial help for college if they file the FAFSA early.

The first step for both the senior and the parent is completing the FSA ID. The FSA ID is an electronic signature, one for the student and a different one for the parent (or shared by both parents). There is a one- to three-day time frame for processing the FSA ID, which is required to complete the FAFSA.

Students classified as Texas Residents who are not eligible to apply for the FAFSA are encouraged to complete the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). You do not need to complete both the FAFSA and TASFA. The FAFSA covers federal and state financial aid opportunities, if you meet the FAFSA filing requirements, then you should submit a completed FAFSA.
