St. Jude School

A Note from the Principal
Everyone is adjusting fabulously to the new school normal. I continue to be amazed by the flexibility and adaptability of our student population. I would like to believe they missed their St. Jude School's teachers, staff, friends, etc. and are thrilled to be back in school learning. I am personally excited that starting Tuesday, September 15th, we will have the opportunity to come together as a school community and celebrate Mass. Due to health and safety concerns, only half as many students may attend at one time. Please note, Mass shirts and ties are optional this year in our junior high. I know this has been hectic, but we are gaining on it daily with patience and kindness. Thank you for all you do to make it possible for your children to attend St. Jude School!
Grace and peace,
Mrs. Hibler

Getting to know our new staff
Mrs. Suzanne Sedivec is new to the art position this year. She is also very active in the Parent Teacher Organization. Her awesome family includes husband, Chris, son Ross and daughter, Kate. As a student, Mrs. Sedivec’s favorite class was gym. In her spare time, she loves being with her family. She is an avid Cleveland Indians, Cavs, Browns, and Ohio State Buckeye fan! Purple is her favorite color, and sloppy joes her favorite food. Sloppy joes, really? Now there is a food you certainly don't hear much about! But, it certainly helps explain the unique, fun-loving new staff member that you are, Mrs. Sedivec!

Extended Day Information
Hello St. Jude Families, Welcome Back! This year, some things will be a little different at Extended Day due to the current pandemic. We will incorporate these changes into our usual program in order to continue providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our families.
- Pick-Up Changes: We ask that parents/caregivers buzz the Family Center and notify us of who you are picking up. You are to wait outside for your child to be released. Extended Day Staff will sign your child out and ensure they pack up their things and sanitize before leaving.
- Craft Materials: Please send your child with their own markers/crayons, scissors, and glue sticks if they wish to do crafts. We will still provide coloring pages and craft paper for their use.
- Emergency Contacts: We are requiring that Extended Day have two different phone numbers on file to reach a parent or caregiver. This is extremely important in case your child gets sick or injured while in our care.
We are looking forward to having your students back with us; please feel free to contact me at cwright@stjudejaguars.org if you have any other questions or concerns!
