Back to School Edition
WELCOME BACK!
Congratulations to our students and teachers for helping us earn an A from the state of Florida! We hope you had a safe and restful summer and we are so excited to begin the 2019-2020 school year. This year, in addition to our new interim Assistant Principal, Carrie Abes, we have many amazing new additions to our staff! They are very talented and eager to get to know our students and their families. In addition to some fresh paint, we have made some security upgrades, including a new door in the office.
Growing Leaders Kick Off!
Join us Monday night from 4:00-5:00 pm at the Oasis Elementary cafeteria to kick off the school year. Our theme this year is Growing Student Leaders. Our guest speaker, Josh Isenhardt, will be discussing our Generation Z students and sharing tools to help them build their leadership skills and write their own life story. All four schools will be embracing this message and parents are encouraged to attend this informative meeting. You will receive two volunteer hours per family for attending. We hope to see you there!
Open House
We are so EXCITED to start the 2019-2020 school year! All Welcome Back letters are in the mail. You should be receiving them soon! If you didn't receive your letter, there will be someone at school on Open House night in the cafeteria to provide that information to you. Open House will be Tuesday, August 6th. You will also receive the OES car tag from your child's teacher. Times are below.
The nurse and the clinic aide will be available in the cafeteria at Open House. Parents can bring student medications needing administration during school hours in the original container with the proper physician forms at this time.
Open House Times
Grades K-2: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Grades 3-5: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
