Energy and It's Types and Sub types
By Hunter Hammond
Kinetic Energy
the energy of a body or a system with respect to the motion of the body or of the particles in the system.
Potential Energy
the energy of an object or a system due to the position of the body or the arrangement of the particles of the system.
Sub Types of Potential Energy
Chemical Potential Energy
a form of potential energy that can be absorbed or released during a chemical reaction
Elastic Potential Energy
potential mechanical energy stored in the configuration of a material or physical system as work is performed to distort its volume or shape.
Gravitational Potential Energy
the potential energy associated with gravitational force, as work is required to elevate objects against Earth's gravity.
