Adult Book Club Line-up Announced!

The STPL Adult Book Club has released their 2012-2013 season line-up. The first meeting takes place on Tuesday, September 11 @ 10:00 a.m. with the book "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet." The first meeting has a special location, so please RSVP by calling 519-631-6050.

All other book club meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Carnegie Room on the lower level of the library. No registration is required and membership is free. Extra copies of the book club books are available at the Circulation Desk on the main level of the library. Can't make it to a book club meeting? FREE TICKETS available at St. Thomas Public Library on a first-come, first-served basis. A goodwill offering is suggested on the night of the event. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Please note Words & Music takes place at the Princess Ave. Playhouse at 40 Princess Avenue, St. Thomas.

Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.

Imagine - Anything is possible when you read

The TD Summer Reading Club is in full swing and there is still time to register your child! Registration is free and kids of any age can register. Each "Imagination Traveler" will receive:
  • An "Imagination" bag filled with goodies
  • An activity booklet to record books read
  • Access to activities and crafts
  • A chance to win weekly prizes and candy draws
  • A free admission pass to the Western Fair (for ages 3 to 11, limited quantity)
  • Access to the "End of Summer" party!

Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Library Friends Shop is a used book shop. It is run by Friends of St. Thomas Public Library and relies entirely on book donations and volunteers. All proceeds from the sales at the shop are donated back to St. Thomas Public Library.

The Friends of St. Thomas Public Library also have a small book sale at the Horton Farmer's Market, open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until Noon.
