BGS Enrichment Field Hockey & Lacrosse Clinics
For Grades: 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th
Clinic Organizer: Emma Knauf
Emma is a BRHS junior working toward her Girl Scout Gold Award. She is also a BGS alumni. The focus of her Gold Award is to get Bradley Gardens students to “Try Something New.” She will be hosting a limited number of clinics after school in late May and early June to introduce the students to field hockey and lacrosse – so they can give them a try! No equipment or experience is needed - just bring water, a snack and a smile! Emma is Rutgers Safety Certified, a member of the BRHS JV Girls Lacrosse Team, Captain of the BRHS JV Field Hockey Team and she hopes to see you there!
More details, sign up forms and permission slips came home this week - return them ASAP. If you missed them, you can find the flyer attached below.
Space is limited so don’t wait.
THANK YOU!
Our Stars of BGS Talent Show was a delight for all. Thanks to all of the students who performed their hearts out, the parents who helped make it all possible, high school volunteers who helped us make magic, and the teachers who got in the spirit as well. Click here to check out a video clip of their performance. Special thanks to our co-chairs, Juliette Musaka and Alison Beebe, who led this fun-filled and entertaining event.
We'd also like to thank all of the families who made this week's Teacher Luncheon so special. Whether you donated your time, tasty goodies, or helped with set up or clean-up, we so appreciate your efforts to recognize the efforts of our teachers.
Can You Lend a Hand?
Field Day Helpers Needed
Field Day is coming soon, but it won't run itself! Mr. C & Mr. U will need some parents to help run the events throughout BGS Field Day on Wednesday, May 29 (Friday the 31st if it rains).
The event runs from 8:50 - 11:30, but volunteers are asked to report at 8:15 for a briefing on game instructions. Note that while you may see your child in passing, you won't be able to follow them to their various challenges. This is a great chance to help out the whole school, see some of the activities they do in gym, and cheer on our Bears.
If you can assist, please contact Mr. Chartowich at bchartowich@brrsd.k12.nj.us.
