The Passion First Mindset teaches us that we are all unique expressions of human existence. It’s vital to find out what our individual strengths and talents are so that we might connect them with our goals and visions for the future. In this mindset, we work to understand our unique gifts, skills and strengths, and how to share them with the world to the maximum extent possible. Not only will we explore our interests, we will begin to identify our core values and what we stand for. The next step is learning how to make our dreams into reality, tapping into both the courage and perseverance needed to overcome any challenges we encounter in pursuit of the lives we desire.
Activities you can do at home to instill the Passion First mindset:

February is a great time to show your favorite charities/organizations some love by making an extra contribution or volunteering your time and talent. Students can share their love in a variety of ways based on their interests and passions.
1. Spread love with Valentines
- Make and deliver Valentine cards and spread love to those needing it the most:
- Senior Citizens in Assisted Living or Nursing Home Facility
- Patients at the Local Children’s Hospital
- Fire Fighters, Police Officers, or EMT’s in the Local Community
2. Volunteer at an animal shelter or bring them extra blankets/sheets
3. Donate to a local food shelter
4. Pick a charity you are passionate about and find a way to support them!
Be sure to share photos of your activities on your school's Facebook page with the hashtag #StrideServes!
