Parents,

I thought I would try something a little different for newsletters! I'm very lucky to be a part of a Professional Learning Network called Principals in Action. Every single day, this group talks about ways to improve learning, engage students, and how to build a great school culture. As a first year principal, I can't tell you how amazing it is to have been invited into this group!

One of the ideas I got this week was to use smore.com to produce my newsletters. It's fast, fun, and free! It's a great way to let you know what's happening at Graber in a fun format that is quick and easy to read. I hope you enjoy the pictures, links, graphics, calendars, and information!

Happy Reading!!

Shout Outs!

  • To the Hutchinson Symphony for coming to Graber and teaching us a little about opera!
  • To PTO and all the effort you put into making our Red Wheel fundraiser a success! Also, a big thank you for the snacks and meals you provided during conferences.
  • To all of the parents who came to parent-teacher conferences! Thank you for your time and your input! With your help, we really can help every child be successful.
  • To all of the teachers for your time given during conferences. I know how much time and effort it takes to assess the students and put together a portfolio of each child's work! Your work doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.
  • To DuWaynne and Mark for setting up the tables and making sure we were ready for Red Wheel distribution, the symphony, and conferences!
  • To Robin and Bobbi for all of the extra hours you put in this week to help parents, teachers and myself through out conferences. I appreciated having you there!
