Historically Speaking Weekly After School Virtual Chats

Join us every Thursday after school, fro 4:00-5:00 for our Historically Speaking chats. Each week we will have a different topic/resource/strategy to talk about or practice! And then we will have time to share and stay connected to each other!

Planning with the End in Mind for 8th and U.S. History

We will plan with the end in mind (STAAR/EOC)! This session will blend the day with a live zoom meeting 9:00-12:00, some collaboration time, and then, a short self-paced Canvas course module to finish the planning process. ( to get 6 hours CPE)

New to Social Studies Teaching Academy Day 1

Participants new to teaching or just new to teaching Social Studies will gain content knowledge about the TEKS, strategies, and planning time to help with first-semester instruction. ( Live zoom in a.m. and self-paced for three more hours of PD!)
