The PJHS Python Press
March 20, 2020
The PJHS Staff misses you all very much. We hope you are doing well. If you need assistance or have questions, please email Mr. Henderson at henderde@unit5.org or me at hessers@unit5.org. We are happy to help in any way possible. The Unit 5 website also has great information: www.unit5.org.
This is an unprecedented time in our lives, and I encourage you to keep a journal of the events happening along with your thoughts and feelings. Someday your children and grandchildren will be very interested in this time period and how you responded!
The school closure and recommendation for social distancing are causing us all to have extra time at home. Please use that time wisely and balance your activities so that you are not spending too much time on any one thing. As we plan our days, how do you think that we can help others? Share your ideas HERE.
Please follow the new Illinois rules about not visiting public places unless it is absolutely essential. This is definitely not the time to visit friends. Please remember, it is a good idea to get outside to exercise and enjoy the beautiful spring weather! Just stay at least 6 feet away from others.
Next week (March 23-27) is our spring break. On March 30th, we will have an additional day off of school. E-Learning is projected to begin on Tuesday, March 31st. You will be learning from home using your computer. Your main point of communication will be the Google Classrooms you have already been using this school year. You will receive a message from your teachers before March 31st. Please remember to stay in contact with them once our e-learning begins.
Students, please take the survey at the following link. It will help us prepare to better support you: Student Survey
Take Care,
Mrs. Hesser
