WMS Weekly Bulletin
February 11-17, 2019
Here's a HUGE congratulations to Mr. Alexander, Mrs. Todaro, and Mrs. Merchant who all give selflessly to make our school an amazing place to learn.
Mr. Alexander - Your technical ingenuity and innovation have catapulted us into great places on the instructional front! Your camaraderie and leadership in the history department will no doubt set our scholars up for great success!
Mrs. Todaro - Your sweet spirit and never-ending smile are just two of the best things about you! Our new families are lucky to have you guiding them through what can be a very overwhelming registration process. Plus, you can keep Mr. Miles in line!
Mrs. Merchant - There is not another person who takes such good care of our building as you. You treat it as if it were your own. Know that we will be with you to support the rebuilding of your personal home with the same care and love you use to take care of us each day.
Yes, our building is beautiful, but it is because of the AMAZING people inside of it, that we are able to capture the WMS magic!
Go Warhawks! And, remember, you belong here.

Behavior RTI Lessons
If a scholar says they are to come to the LGI with Mr. Stewart and they do not have a pass, then DO NOT allow them to leave. All scholars will need to show you their pass to leave Advocate. If you have questions, contact Mr. Stewart.
From Nurse Flater
It is field trip season!! Please remember the following things about field trips:
- I must have a list at least 2 weeks before the trip.
- On the morning of the trip please come and pick up the medical bag and any instructions. DO NOT send a scholar to get the bag, as I need to discuss medical information and that can not told to a scholar.
- Upon returning from your trip, drop bag back off to the nurse's office. Again please do not send it with a scholar. I MUST get the medical bag the same day as you return, as I might need to prepare it for another trip that next day.
If you have any questions please ask. Thank you for helping me keep our scholars safe on the field trips!
February 18 Agenda

February is CTE Month
For the rest of February, we will be celebrating Career & Technology Education in CSISD! This is an important skill set which students start in middle school and continue into high school.
Starting Friday, Feb. 8 there will be short videos to play during advocate class. Each will be linked on to the daily announcements slides. When we get to the CSISD CTE Website posting, it will be posted for several days until Feb. 27. This webpage has several short videos -- it is recommended you just pick one per day to play as they should be fairly short. Feel free to talk up CTE or add insights and discussion with your students after watching the video of the day.
Any bowlers in the house? Come join MISHLER for Bowl-a-thon!
It is Sat. Feb. 16, at 9:00 AM. I need people to be on my team!!!!
Email Mishler if you're interested in joining the WINNING team!
