It's February! Show Your LOVE for Your College Enrollment Plans
Many of you have received college acceptances and have decided where you will be going to college in the fall! Please update your Crosby Scholars Student Portal with your college name once you have made your final decision. Follow the steps listed below.
- Log into your Crosby Scholars Student Portal
- Click the Profile tab
- Click Edit This Info above the personal info box
- Scroll to the bottom of the page. The last line will be a drop down box for College Name where the student can select his/her school name.
- Once the field is populated, the student must click the Update button to save changes.
- If the college name is not listed, please email seniorprogram@crosbyscholars.org or text 336-777-7648 with your name, high school, and name of college/university.
A few notes:
- Seniors cannot see the College Name selection until they click Edit this Info; once the field is populated, it will show on the Profile page.
- Schools are listed by their official name, not abbreviations or nicknames.
- There are options for military branches and gap year, if a student does not plan to enroll in a 2-or-4 year school right away.

Exercise Your Right to Get Fit
Getting in shape does not require an expensive gym membership or purchasing hundreds of dollars of specialized exercise equipment. Activities such as walking, running, jumping rope, and doing old-fashioned calisthenics (think jumping jacks; push-ups; sit-ups) are free/low cost, and you can do them at home or in your neighborhood. In addition, there are thousands of workout videos on YouTube suitable for beginners as well as those who exercise faithfully. Here are a few to consider, along with this TED talk on the brain-changing benefits of exercise:
