PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Scappoose Students, Families, and Staff,
As we approach the final two weeks of semester one, please focus on finishing work and studying for finals. Buses will run at the normal times in the afternoon. Students will be excused after the third final of each day. The finals schedule is below along with a lot of other important information for you. Please let us know if you have any questions or need support. Have a great week!

Every winter team now has competitions, matches, or games under the belts. It looks like another outstanding winter season is unfolding.
Home Contests-Streaming Options
We will be streaming all of our home contests taking place in the main gym this winter

The Booster Club is expanding and planning February’s Crab Feed and beginning to plan for a Scappoose Scramble Golf Tournament in August. They support all activities, clubs, and athletic teams. Traveled to Gladstone and picked up another win defeating the Gladiators 56-39
Host North Marion Next Tuesday before heading to the Les Schwab South Coast Tournament (Marshfield) for three games Thursday - Saturday
Boys Basketball
Picked up a great road win at Gladstone 44-40 playing clutch down the stretch
Will welcome North Marion on Tuesday before playing in three games next week at the Dayton Holiday Tournament Thursday - Saturday
Dance
Multiple accolades from the Rex Putnam Holiday Festival of Dance on Saturday
2nd Place (5A-1A) Hip Hop
3rd Place Novelty
Seven of the top 10 in individual Drill Down
Travels to Sherwood for the DDCA Category Invitationals tomorrow
Swimming
Kicked off their season at the Nygaard Invitational (Astoria Aquatic Center) last Saturday
11 Personal Records to start the year
Head back to the coast today for the River City Invitational (Tillamook)
Wrestling
Kick-started their season on Saturday at the Perry Burlison Wrestling Classic (Cascade HS)
They travel to LaGrande next Friday/Saturday for the Muilenburg (Boys) & Belt Buckle Classic (Girls)

The Safe & Sober Graduation Party planning is well underway. Thank you to those of you who have volunteered, attended meetings, or supported our group in any way so far this year. The success of this event is based on donations and fundraising. We are estimating a need of $250 per senior.
