Free Breakfast & Lunch
Lunch and breakfast is free again this school year. The program we are under is SSO (Seamless Summer Option). With this, lunch/breakfast will not be available over the weekends or holidays.
Ala carte milk, water and juice will be available again. Reminder: Ala carte milk/juice/water will have a charge. A free lunch consists of an entree, fruit, vegetable and a milk if a student chooses one.
Students notify their teacher of their lunch orders each morning. They also notify their teacher if they want breakfast to take home for the following day. Breakfast will be distributed at the end of the day to be taken home for the following day's breakfast.
Arrival & Dismissal Information
In the morning, buses will unload in the bus circle. No cars are permitted in the bus circle. In an effort to practice social distancing and limit the number of people on school grounds, we ask that if your child is a car rider, you utilize the drop off lane. Parents are discouraged from parking and walking their children up to the school. Students will be expected to safely walk on the sidewalks from their drop off spot to their classroom entrance. Staff will be stationed along the sidewalk and around the building to assist students as needed. In the event students arrive after 8:00 am, parents will need to walk their child up to the front entrance to sign their child in.
Students Entering the Building
Once students approach the school, 2nd-5th grade students will enter the building at their classroom’s exterior door. Kindergarten and 1st grade students should enter the building through the front, main doors, where they will be greeted by staff in the main lobby. All students should arrive between 7:45- 8:00 and go directly to their assigned arrival door. Students must remain in their cars until 7:45am, or until BG staff are outside to support arrival.
DISMISSAL
Buses will be loading in the front of school in the bus circle again this year. Therefore, the bus circle will not be available for parking at dismissal. This is a change from previous years where our buses loaded in the back of the building.
Parents who are picking up their children (car riders) are asked to not get out of their cars at the front of the school. This includes parking in the lot and getting out. We do not want additional adults waiting on the sidewalks. Students will be supervised in the car line by staff members until they get into their cars.
Last year we started a Visor Tag System for car riders. Families are provided a Visor Tag with their name on it. This tag is to be displayed on your passenger visor, visible to BG staff as you pull through the pick-up line. Visor Tags will be given to all families by Friday Aug. 13. If you need additional visor tags please email Mrs. Stanley.
If a child is a walker/biker/scooter and meeting a parent to walk home, the designated walker meeting spot is the bike rack. Parents will not be permitted to walk up to the front of school for dismissal. Bell-Graham Parking Lot Map for 21/22 School Year
