Food Truck Festival - Important Details for This Sunday
Thank you for all of your RSVP’s and we look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday for the Vernfield Food Truck Festival. Below are some updates and important information that will help Sunday be a success all around!
This is a fundraiser, so your participation can be as much or little as you like. The trucks have not only generously agreed to participate without minimum sales guarantees, but they will also be donating 10% of their sales to our Home and School Association. So come, relax and let the kids have fun with their friends with the entertainment by the DJ!
Please keep in mind that this is a school wide event – larger than we are used to in the past two years. So please be patient and remember that the trucks will be doing their best to serve all of our families as quickly as possible.
Time: 5-8pm You can come and enjoy the whole evening, or come at whatever time works best for your family.
This is a rain or shine event. In the event that the weather becomes too bad, we will have to cancel the event.
What to bring: The pavilion tables will be available for your enjoyment, but feel free to bring a set up that will make you and your family comfortable. Think tailgating! Picnic blankets, camping chairs, or yard games like corn hole or a soccer ball.
(Adult beverages are not permissible.)
Truck Pricing and Payment Methods: Truck food prices will range from approximately $6 to $15. Each truck will take various payment methods, including cash, card, google pay, apple pay or venmo. Please be flexible and prepared with each truck and the payment type that they accept. Some trucks will have QR codes available so you can scan, order and get notified on your phone, when your food is ready! Menus will be posted to the Vernfield HSA FB site.
***Special 50/50 Raffle*** During the Food Truck Festival, Vernfield HSA will be doing a special 50/50 raffle, with the proceeds going towards a special community service project done by one of our very own SAHS students! This student has worked hard to create a communication board for the Vernfield playground, which will be installed next week. We are very excited to support and help sponsor this project and thank you all in advance for helping us meet this goal!
Raffle tickets will be available at the 50/50 table, with pricing of; $1/per ticket, $5 for 8 tickets, $10 for 20 tickets. Cash only.
