Smith Family Newsletter
We believe in the power of school and family partnerships.
Message from Ms. Rivera
Welcome to the April edition of our newsletter. I can't believe we are already in the final nine weeks of school! I am grateful for this time since it was snatched away from us last year, and the kids are happy and energized with this beautiful weather.
Right now, we are in the final push to get our kids on track and on level before the summer. See below for an introduction to the Smith Elementary Instructional Series, where we will share short videos with tips on how to help your child at home. Thank you for partnering with us to grow our kids!
Please reach out to me if you have any questions or feedback, visit our website, and follow us on Twitter @CedricSmithElem.
Teacher of the Month - Jay Ross
Jay Ross is a veteran teacher at Smith and a fan favorite. Mr. Ross is a wonderful role model for our kids. He is kind, patient, and one of the wittiest people you could ever meet. He is so talented in creating a love of reading and writing in his students. He is also an author of several books, including the hilarious Diary of America.
Thank you, Mr. Ross, for inspiring our kids to be better people each day!
Congratulations!
