September 24th is National Punctuation Day!!!
Introducing Your Class President!!!
Baala Shakya, Sophomore President
Representing my class, is a great honor and matter of importance to me. As freshmen, my class tried their best at reaching out and supporting one another amidst the pandemic. Even though many of us hadn’t met till this year, I still felt like I was part of the HCHS family. As President I hope to represent and continue to push initiatives for connectivity within our grade, and throughout the whole school as well.
Something that most people don’t know about me is that I love reading… MAPS! (Yes, really!) I’m a huge geography nerd, and I enjoying learning about different cultures from around the world. I compete in Ancient Geography in Latin Club here at HC too!
Ayumi Vazquez, Junior President
High school is often seen as the last chapter in our lives before we become adults and go off to live our own individual lives. I want to make sure that the time we have before then is well spent & that we create bonds to last a lifetime. From school dances to powderpuff, it’s those import memories that bring us all closer together.
Something about me that most people don’t know is I love to cook! I love challenging myself with new recipes and using a diverse variety of ingredients.
Omar Ratrut, Senior President
I think most people won't know that I can read and write Arabic.
