In June 6, 1934 the Act was put into place that governed the secondary exchange of securities and created the Securities Exchange Act.

In a business the Act has enabled business to put their businesses on the market and people buy shares and the owner of the business then receives money form the buyers and at the same time consumers can actually make money from the shares as long the equity is still good.
