Interfaith Baccalaureate Service
Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM, Callahan Theater
You are cordially invited to join the Class of 2015 as we gather for this year’s Interfaith Baccalaureate Service.
This year’s class has chosen the theme “Bearing the Light” and has selected readings and prayers from a variety of faith traditions. The Nazareth Chamber Singers will also sing a beautiful Celtic Blessing that was composed specifically for Baccalaureate.

Your presence at Baccalaureate is very much appreciated by the graduates and their families. Faculty and staff who would like to process will line-up in the Palladoro Lounge at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. There is no need to RSVP. Full academic attire is worn and the service will be about an hour long.
The Interfaith Baccalaureate Service includes reflections on the theme by this year's speaker Sr. Barbabra Lum, SSJ. Sr. Barb, a 1958 Nazareth graduate, was assigned to Good Samaritan Hospital and School of Practical Nursing in Selma Alabama in 1959 and served there until 1968. Sr. Barbabra witnessed first hand the events of "Bloody Sunday" caring for victims at Good Samaritan Hospital.
