We hope this message finds you well and in the best state of health and iman.

As we are in the midst of the third quarter of this school year, progress reports will be going out soon. Please pay attention to the citizenship as well as academic grades and discuss with your student if any of these grades are low. There is still time until the end of the quarter on March 24th. And don't forget to commend and express your pleasure when the grades are good, alhamdulillah. Positive reinforcement is very important.

Priority re-enrollment for current students will start this week on March 1st. Please make sure you're caught up on tuition and other dues.

BHA Administration

Priority re-enrollment for current BHA students for the 2023-2024 school year with be March 1 through March 15, 2023.

Admission for new families starts March 16, 2023.

Enrollment and admission forms will be posted on March 1, insha'Allah.

BHA aligns with the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) for the school start dates. Please note that the district, and therefore BHA, are starting earlier this year on August 21, 2023.

SDUSD is aiming to shift the school calendar in a way that the first semester ends before winter break. This will take two years; therefore, school will be starting a week earlier this year and next year.

The full BHA school calendar will be published soon, insha'Allah.

School days are shortened in Ramadan. We will share the detailed schedule close to the month, but the school timings are mentioned below.

Picture Day is almost here! We will be taking class pictures for all grades TK through 12th, insha'Allah.

Graduating and promoting classes will also have pictures taken with gowns for KG, 8th, and 12th and sashes/stoles for 5th. Details will be announced by admin for specific classes through email.

Parents, we have a difficult time securing picture days for our school because the photo company does not make a profit as very, very few students buy pictures. This is not sustainable for the company. Please try to buy something for memory, so we may be able to keep having picture days in the coming years, insha’Allah.

Masha'Allah, an unprecedent number of middle school students have qualified for and joined NJHS this semester. The induction ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 5, insha'Allah.

Invitations will be emailed to the families via Jupiter Ed. Attendance is by invitation only.

• For Tuesdays and Thursdays, lunches are paid in advance; however, if you decide to pay on the same day of the lunch, you can pay for it in the morning at the main office.
