Fox Family Focus

Week of September 19, 2021

Greetings Fox Families!

This is Anita Roane, your principal with this week’s announcements and reminders.

During the recent Title I booth there were 20 entry slips to win a Bedtime Math book. We had the lucky winner. Congratulations to 2nd grader Jaxon Childress.

Thanks so much to all of you who were in attendance and for spreading the math love and playing games at these events!

The Drama Club will hold its first meeting this upcoming Tuesday from 3:15-4:00 pm. Those families have been contacted via email. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Whipp or Mrs. Gregory.

Are you ready for our Family Engagement Football Tailgate event sponsored by Title I and Title III? Join us before the September Friday night games from 5:30 to 6:30 at the LCPS Football Stadium for food, books, and activities! See you there!

Save the date for a special presentation highlighting our Title I program at Moss-Nuckols Elementary School. Title I funding for our school allows us to provide additional support to students in the areas of reading and math. During this meeting, we will share information about our Title I program followed by a question/answer period via telephone. We are asking for feedback or questions about the program. The presentation will also be posted on our website so you may view it at a later time if that is more convenient for your family’s schedule.

This meeting’s presentation will be sent via email to all families on that Monday evening. You should have received a flyer about both of these Title events last week.

Please remember to send your student with a water bottle daily. This can be an empty water bottle that they refill at school or any water bottle that can be refilled during the day. The water bottle can not be made from glass.
