Good evening Sunburst Parents,

I wanted to reach out to wish you and yours a happy new year with hopes of 2021 being a year filled with good health, love and happiness for all of us. As a reminder, school resumes tomorrow, Monday, January 4th, for our 3rd Qtr. and in our Distance Learning Model. Please remind your child to log into his/her Google classroom tomorrow morning at/before 7:30 to start our school day.

Thank you for your support of our Distance Learning as we all practice COVID carefulness to keep each other safe and healthy. Please see below for important updates.

Grab and Go Meals

The weekly Grab and Go meal program resumes tomorrow Monday, January 4 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Families will pick up seven breakfasts, seven lunches and five snacks per child. Meals are available for free for all children age 18 and younger.

PTO Restaurant Night - January 5th

We will be kicking off the New Year with our First Tuesday of the Month Family Fundraiser on January 5th at Yogurtini on 59th Ave & W. Thunderbird from 5 to 8 pm. We will be practicing social distancing. Don't forget to show this flyer or tell them that you are from Sunburst.

Sunburst Morning News is still going strong as we continue distance learning in the 3rd quarter.

Please visit our Facebook page, where you will find the daily post/link to the Sunburst Morning News. We will continue to have all of our regular features, including student reporters delivering the E.Q. motto, birthday shout outs, and weather! Tomorrow we will show Pajama Day, and on Wednesday, we will start our new features for the third quarter: We Work Wednesdays, Thankful Thursdays, and Fun Fridays.
