Tutoring for English Language Arts class is Available!

Please refer to this document on how to sign up for after school ELA tutoring. Tutoring will be provided after school Monday-Thursday 2:25 -3:35. Students will be allowed to attend only 2 days of the four days. We will assign the days to students that is best for them.

Student IDs and Lanyards

Please remember that students must wear their Sedway lanyard with student ID and school bus pass (for those who ride) at all times while on campus. A safe environment is one of our top priorities and the lanyards contribute to keeping our school safe. Parents, please remind students to wear their lanyards to school.

Late to Missing Assignment

Watch the video below (and linked here) to learn about assignments being marked "late" to "missing." Remember that assignments that are not turned in will be marked 50% at the end of the grading period.

The Standard School Attire is STILL in effect..

Please review Sedway's Dress Code Guidelines. Students who come to school in clothing that does not follow the SSA will be sent to the TMZ and asked to change. If a change of clothing/shoes is not available, parents will be called and asked to bring a change of clothes. As always, please call the school with any questions or concerns.

Remember that hoodies must also follow the SSA. Hoodies must be solid black, white, blue, gray, or khaki without logos or patterns. Also, slippers and slide sandals are not allowed under the SSA.

Change of School Assignment (COSA) Information

The Board of School Trustees approved revisions to District Policy and Regulation 5112, Change of School Assignment (COSA) on September 23, 2021. These revisions are effective for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year, including the replacement of the zone variance process with COSA and the elimination of open enrollment, minority-to-majority, select school enrollment, and residential affidavits. These revisions aligned with COSA promote equity for students and efficiency of resources. The processes and protocols, including communication, student applications, and the lottery, will be managed centrally within the College, Career, Equity, and School Choice Unit.
