Enough Sleep?
The Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for Children and Youth state that “for optimal health benefits, children and youth (aged 5-17years) should achieve high levels of physical activity, low levels of sedentary behaviour and sufficient sleep each day.”
Chilhood Illnesses and Exclusion
My child is or has been feeling sick... is it okay to go to school? The Health Unit provides some direction for parents and caregivers. Please click on the link below to find out more.
Parking Lot and Loop
Several parents have brought up concerns over the parking lot. While there are some people with accessible parking permits who need to enter, there are still several vehicles (sometimes the same ones each day) entering the parking lot after school to pick up students. We are asking caregivers to please help keep our students safe by adhering to the posted signs. Thank-you.
Phyllis the Amaryllis
You may have noticed an addition to the front hallway at Welborne! "Phyllis" joined us in 2018 and has provided lots of opportunities for kids to measure, meet and observe a plant's growth!
