At Art City we have a wonderful student council. Mrs. Jensen works with them each week helping them learn leadership skills and how to follow through with plans. This month our student council is planning a Go Green! This begins today and continues through the end of the month. They created a calendar that they shared with teachers. Each school day there is something on this calendar for students/adults to do to help them take care of their body.

Run around the field at recess.

 play a sport at recess.

Do a Just Dance in class.

Wear green! (a contest will take place, so don't forget to wear a lot of green!

 No School!

 Eat veggies at lunch.

 Drink only water.

 Don't eat any candy.

Eat a salad or fruit salad.

 Don't eat fast food.

Go on a walk with a friend.

 Make a new friend.

 Don't call out in class.
