Quote of the Week

"The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others" --Albert Schweizer

Principal's Message

Welcome to week five of our academic school year! Last week we were scheduled to begin our official classroom visitations for the purpose of providing classroom practices feedback, but after consulting and working with our teacher group, we scheduled our formal visitations to begin this week on Monday, August 15th. Therefore, we have a very exciting week coming up and our administration team can't wait to start visiting classrooms!

As we progress through the early part of our school year, I continue to see more and more the importance of showing kindness and respect for others. Our students had a chance to show this kindness and respect this past Friday at our Welcome Back Assembly. I heard nothing but positive cheering and demonstrations of spirit and pride throughout the assembly. Students encouraged each other as they participated in activities that included a donut eating contest, a dancing contest, and a cheering competition between our two grade levels.

It is with that spirit that we want to continue to promote and encourage our students to make good choices by using empathy, compassion, and kindness when determining what they will say or do next while on campus and while interacting with each other.
