Students learn about Miranda Rights to prepare for Law Day

Law Day

Each year, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association hosts a poster contest for 2nd-5th grade students pertaining to a legal topic. This year's theme is Miranda Rights - More than Words. Mrs. Garrett is bringing in seven local attorneys from varying backgrounds to speak to the classes about their careers and the importance of Miranda Rights.
