Details About the Poster Contest
Deadline for Entries: Friday March 25, 2016 - Return to Mrs. Garrett in the Learning Commons
Open to students in grades 2-5
A highlight of the annual SMBA Law Day Celebration is the unveiling of the winners of the poster contest. Prizes will be awarded at the Law Day Art Awards Ceremony and Reception (more information)
The Poster Entries will be displayed at the Law Day Art Exhibit from April 8- May 1, 2016.
Instructions and rules:
• Create a poster that illustrates the law day theme.
• Posters should be submitted on 8.5 x 11 white paper.
Submissions must include name, school, grade, home address, phone number, and parent/guardian email (on the back).
Prizes will be awarded at the Law Day Art Awards Ceremony and Reception (more information)
First place: $100 to the student
Second place: $75 to the student
Third place: $50 to the student
Honorable mention ribbons will be awarded to ten semifinalists.
All entries become the property of the SMBA and may be used by the association as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion. By entering your copyright and all other rights, title and interest are assigned to the SMBA. Winning posters may be reproduced and published, along with the artists’ names, and used for current and future Law Day promotions.
