Dear Parents and Guardians/Estimado Padre de Familia o Guardián
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Student safety is one of our top priorities. In light of that, here are some reminders about our morning student drop-off procedures.
Our staff supervision by the front door starts at 7:20 am. To increase your student’s safety, no child should be dropped off before this time.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast from 7:20 to 7:55 a.m. If students plan to eat breakfast at school, their arrival time should allow time to finish eating prior to 7:55 a.m.
Please reduce your speed to 10 miles per hour (mph) when driving on campus.
Do not park or leave cars unattended in the pick-up/drop-off lane at any time.
To drop-off and pick-up students, please pull your vehicle up past the crosswalk area as far as you can in the drop-off lane to allow room for more than one vehicle to drop-off students at a time.
Please have your child sit and exit from the passenger side of the car so that he or she does not have to cross traffic. Please have your child ready to exit the vehicle by the time you stop. This will allow the drop-off line to continuously flow.
Do not pass other vehicles in the rotation, as that will create a dangerous situation for students.
Do not allow children to exit vehicles in the parking lot and cross a crosswalk without an adult. Children must be escorted by an adult across all crosswalks. If you are parking and entering the building, park your vehicle in the parking lot and cross only at a crosswalk.
Operating a cell phone while driving a vehicle on school campus is illegal. Please do not operate or talk on a cell phone while driving on school campus.
Please do not drop off students in the bus drive/staff parking lot. That circle drive is for buses and paid transportation services only.
We wear masks for the safety of others!
Wearing a mask or face covering can help us keep more of our Cubs in school. When students wear a face covering, it decreases their chance of becoming a close contact in the classroom. Remember, we can provide a mask or face covering to students. Please let your child’s teacher know if you would like for your Cub to have one during the school day.

Complete Your 2020-2021 Online Annual Update Today! Please disregard if you have completed your 2020-2021 HAC update.
The online Annual Update process must be completed each year for all current Humble ISD students. There are still student accounts for the 20-21 school year that need to update. Please do so at your earliest convenience.
This is a yearly process for returning students and does not affect your choice of instructional setting. Please visit the Annual Update website to begin.

All students are required to have an updated immunization record on file in order to stay in school. Updates include DTaP, MMR, IPV, and the VAR vaccine. In addition to these boosters, school age children should have had the Hepatitis A & B series completed.
If your student has a health condition or needs special care during the school day such as medication, treatments, or monitoring, please inform the School Nurse. Individual health care plans help keep your students safe and healthy.
***Medical care plans, rescue inhalers, and Epi pens are a necessity, and may save a life!***
PLEASE have a current and working phone number in the school office, in the event we need to reach you.
Visit the School Nurse web page for more information on student health, school forms, and other helpful links.
