A Message from the Principals
Dear Millbridge Families,
This was a PHANtastic week at Millbridge as we welcomed the Philly Phanatic. We appreciate your support in helping the surprise event be a success as so many students were showing their Philly spirit. Please remember that visitors are asked to park in one of the designated spots in front of the school or in the lot adjacent to the cafeteria.
On Thursday of this week, we have our first single session day for the school year. It is important to remember that only breakfast is served from our cafeteria on these days. Please be sure that you pack a snack for your child to eat in the classroom. If you have been notified that your child is in an allergy classroom, please help us keep all of our students safe by following the guidance that was shared. Your child’s teacher or teachers will be sending home some additional information. Dismissal starts at 1:00 on Thursday.
Delran Schools are closed on Friday for Staff In-Service. We hope you and your children have a great weekend.
Your partners in education,
Mrs. Lowe and Mr. Blenderman

Sneakers Every Day: Extra Phys. Ed Class
We recommend students wear sneakers every day since they are needed for physical education classes, health and recess. Students at Millbridge have an additional physical education class taught by Mr. Cordero, who also teaches at DIS, approximately once every 10 school days. At Millbridge, days when Mr. Cordero is here, are referred to as Day A, Day B, Day C, Day D and Day E. Below is a list of classes that are scheduled each day. We will reference Day A-Day E in the Dates to Know.
Attendance/Absence Information
New this school year, we are trying a system for parents to use when notifying the school of your child’s absence. Please email the main office at MBOffice@delranschools.org and include the following:
Child’s first and last name
Date of absence(s)
Child’s teacher
Reason for absence
If you prefer to call, please contact the main office at (856) 461-2900 and follow the prompts to record the above information.
Please note that all absences are not excused by the Delran Township School District. If your child misses school for a medical reason, a doctor’s note must be provided within 5 days of the absence.
Delran Education Foundation welcomes you
The Delran Education Foundation is run entirely through the volunteer efforts of members of the Delran community. There are opportunities for interested individuals to help staff a fundraising event, to help plan an event, to solicit sponsorship from local businesses, to serve on one of our committees, or to serve on the Board of Trustees. The Foundation welcomes the support of anyone willing to contribute his or her time, even if the individual doesn’t have much time to give. Join Us. If you are willing to volunteer some of your time to support Delran’s students, please complete the form below. Someone will be in touch with you soon, and we’ll work together to determine how you can help. We are currently looking for help for an event on Oct 3rd, committee members for the spring fundraiser and we have chair positions we are hoping to fill.Any questions can be directed to Kris Scanlon at kbelisario@comcast.net.
