Message from Mrs. Hawkins
Lincoln Families,
Thank you for your patience and support during our Distance Learning. I have been able to join many classrooms and love seeing the students engaged in learning. You are doing a great job at home helping students access their Google Classrooms and complete assignments. We are very excited to welcome students back to In-person learning starting January 11th. The staff will be using two days to prepare for this transition, so there will not be Distance Learning on Jan. 7th and 8th. When students return, we will continue to follow most of the protocols we had in place in November. The new Governor’s order does give us more flexibility with social distancing recommending at least 3 feet between students. We will also be able to use the library, and the music and art rooms. I am confident that our students and staff will continue to do well under these guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at Lincoln School. I’m wishing you all Health and Happiness for 2021!
Mrs. Hawkins, Principal

Inclement Weather and School Closing
The first snowfall has come and gone, but we can certainly expect more to come in the months that follow. Our approach to inclement weather days will be changing this year due to our new experiences with virtual learning. We will use E-Learning days where students in grades K-12 will continue learning from home with support from their teachers instead of going into school.
K-5
In the event that we are forecasting a winter storm that may impact school for the next day(s), we will be issuing personal devices and charging cords to all K-5 students the day before the expected storm. Individual teachers will provide guidance on activities for the actual inclement weather days.
6-12
All students will be expected to check in and engage according to their daily scheduled classes and expectations.
Don't Miss Important Updates
When decisions are made to alter the school day or cancel it due to inclement weather, every effort is made to communicate that decision to parents in a timely manner through our school messenger system, the website, and local radio and TV stations.
Parents can choose to receive notifications via text message, phone call, email, and/or parent portal inbox messages. To help us contact households efficiently, be sure to update home, work and/or cell phone information in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, and verify that the appropriate boxes are checked to receive notifications. This will ensure that you automatically receive information about weather-related school closures in a timely manner.
