Masquers Informational Meeting
Whether you have been in Masquers for years or are just wanting to find out more about us, come to the Masquers Informational Meeting in the Amphitheatre this Thursday, July 27th, immediately after school. We will be sharing about different ways you can get involved, as well as going over important information about all of our productions for the 2023/24 school year. There are going to be some changes this year to how we have done things in the past, so if you feel like you already know it all, you don't. Plan to come to this important meeting!
Radium Girls - Workshop and Auditions!
- Our audition workshop will be Friday, July 28th in the Auditorium. Director Amy Uptgraft will be leading the workshop, so this is a great opportunity for you to find out exactly what she will be looking for at auditions. Choose one of these audition monologues to read over and be ready to work on when you come.
- Auditions are by appointment after school on Monday, July 31st. You will come and perform your monologue at that time. You may or may not be given some direction and asked to redo some or all of your monologue.

- Sign up for an audition slot here
- Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, August 1st from 3:30-7pm. If you are called back, it does not necessarily mean you will be cast. If you are not called back, it does not necessarily mean you are not cast. At callbacks, you will be asked to read from the script. Be prepared to stay for the entire time. If that is a problem, make sure we know about it when you audition.
Parents - Mandatory Meeting - Wednesday, August 2nd at 5:30pm in the Food Court
We are having a Mandatory Parents Meeting for everyone who is cast in Radium Girls. If you are planning on auditioning, make sure your parents know about this meeting and that at least one of them can plan on attending. Important information will be given and expectations will be set. It is vitally important for at least one parent to attend this meeting. We know everyone has busy lives, so we will keep it as brief as possible.

2023-2024 Season Graphics and Posters Contest! EXTENDED TO JULY 31st

You can submit for one show or for them all. Please create artwork on an 11"x17" piece of paper or if creating it digitally please make the page size 12"x18". Artwork can be handmade and scanned or created digitally. Please make sure there are no essential graphics on the top 4 inches or the bottom 3 inches or the right and left side to allow for show information and printing to the edge. (Please do not include the text of the title for Radium Girls or Anastasia. It will be better for us to add it digitally on top of the artwork.) Please send all submissions to masquers@ortn.edu with your name and contact information by Monday, July 31st! The winning art piece for each show will be used as the background for our poster and the winner will receive:

Masquers Teams Information
There will be information about all of the Masquers Teams at the Informational Meeting on Thursday. Masquers Officers
Our officers are chosen by application each spring and they help lead the various teams. If you are interested in serving as an officer, look for information and applications to come out after the spring musical closes.
Beggars (Fund Raising)
Mrs. Lloyd is the Beggars Supervisor. Cailyn Lawson is our student lead. Beggars are in charge of helping Masquers raise the funds to bring our shows to life. Working with our newly organized Booster Club, Beggars will help promote and support the fundraising efforts to keep providing high quality theatre at ORHS.

Box Office (Front of House)
Dr. Pickel is our Box Office Manager and Torrin Widell is our student lead. Box Office takes care of ticket sales and makes sure our audience feels welcome to our shows. The Fixer Uppers (Costumes)
Rochelle Meylink (Mrs. M) is our Costume Manager and Libby Peterson is our student lead. The Fixer Uppers make sure Masquers looks good! They work to curate the perfect costume pieces to bring our shows to life. If you enjoy sewing, cosplay, putting together the perfect ensemble, working with hair and make-up, then keep watch for the Fixer Uppers Application!

Skeletons (Tech)
The Ghosts group has a new name - Skeletons! Matthew Lloyd is our Technical Director and Amber Latham is the student lead. Skeletons help with audio, lights, and set. Skeletons provide the framework and make all the magic happen to support the show and the performers. If you enjoy lighting and audio work, building things or creating magic, come join the Skeletons.

Improv!
Rollin Prince is our Improv Coach and Casyn Clark is our student lead. Improv is about connecting in the funnest way possible. Our improv team works to learn long and short form improv as they build their craft of improvisational acting skills. Minstrels (Musicians)
Is led by our student leader, Brandon Bonemarte and supported by our Music Directors (to be announced soon). Our Minstrels are our Masquers Musicians who help form the musical needs of our shows from incidental music to full orchestras. The Social Committee
Mrs. Lloyd is the PR Manager and Social Committee Supervisor. Jackie Ayala is our student lead. Masquers has a monthly event in order for all groups to get together and have fun! The social committee has also taken on our Social Media outreach and will make sure everyone knows what is happening in our Masquers Community.
