Tribe News
August 2022
Note from the Principal
I recently saw a meme that said, "There are months with 30 days and months with 31 days. There is even a month with 28 days BUT July has 2 days!" That felt especially true to me this year. Even though summer felt like it passed quickly, my hope is you were able to enjoy the warm weather with family and friends!
Have you heard? Our Little Mohawks Preschool program is GROWING!! To accommodate the additional preschool room, we needed to shift classrooms. You will now find 1st-5th grade classes on the north side (closest to bus parking)of the building. In addition to new rooms, we also have new staff members. I am very excited about this group of talented teachers and support staff. You can trust your children are being cared for and educated by a dedicated Tribe.
I look forward to the hugs, life if the building, and a great 2022/2023 school year.
Please feel free to stop by and say hello. My door is open. See you soon!!
Much Love,
Mrs. Speidel

Drop Off and Pick-Up
- *To access WES, head south on Race Street (you will end on the south side of Kuhn Storage and looking at the school)
- Staff members will be present to help direct 8 cars at a time into the drop-off/pick-up area.
- Please do not pull out of the line. We will dismiss cars in order.
- All car riders will be assigned a number. IF your family had a number last year....it will be the same. We have new hangtags and backpack tags for anyone that doesn't have one.
- To help ensure the safety of ALL during pick-up and drop-off...adults should not exit the car.
- IF your child needs seatbelt assistance or to be buckled into a booster seat, your child will load the car and you will pull forward to the designated area (see yellow star on map). You will then be able to exit your car to buckle your child's seat.
- Please DO NOT block any driveways along the route.
- Mrs. Melissa will be at the 4 way directing traffic. If she is not at her spot, please follow the 4-way stop signs as HS students might also be leaving the campus.
