SCHEDULE
July 31- August 1 (freshmen, leadership team, color guard, & percussion) - 8:30am to 11:30am
August 4-8 (Full Band) – 8:30am to 11:30am (Sectionals 12:30pm to 2:30pm) *
August 8 (Parent Meeting) – 6pm
August 11-15 (Full Band) – 8:30am to 11:30am (Sectionals 12:30pm to 2:30pm) *
August 18-21 (Full Band) – 5pm-7pm*12:30pm to 1:30pm – Brass/Woodwinds
*1:30pm to 2:30pm – Color Guard/Percussion
***We will also use the afternoon time to distribute uniforms and take care of housekeeping items***
WHAT TO BRING
1. Instrument and supplies (valve oil, reeds, etc.)
2. Music flip-folder and lyre
3. Ball cap
4. Sunglasses
5. Light-colored clothing
6. Low-top tennis shoes (NO sandals)
7. Sunscreen
8. Water, H2O, Agua…!!!!! (We will provide water, but you are welcome to bring your own)
9. Winning Attitude!!!!

During the parent meeting on August 8th, we will discuss expectations, goals, band handbook, band contract, permission forms, UIL Acknowledgement Forms and answering any questions students and parents may have.
***New this year*** All parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to participate in at least two band booster fundraising events (concessions, bake sale, spaghetti supper…). Sign-up sheets will be available at the parent meeting on August 8th.
