Mrs. Pierce’s Principal Message

Sometimes I just look up, smile and say, “I know that was you, God!

Thanksgiving always is a time for us to be grateful for all that God gives us. At each and every Mass, we are so privileged to be thankful for the gift of life and the gift of salvation. The Eucharist is thanksgiving! Jesus, Our Savior, teaches us time and time again the importance of thanksgiving. In the parable of the 10 lepers, Jesus heals all ten, but only one returns. This Samaritan fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked Him. Jesus tells him to go and be saved. Have you taken time to count your blessings? I am so thankful for my family, my health, my food, my life, challenges, and opportunities. But today I am so very blessed with my new SMG family! Every day God blesses me in ways I least expected it- He loves us and wants us to be happy. During this season, take time to count your blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving; may it be filled with love and joy!

With a grateful heart,

Mrs. Pierce
