Murder Most Fowl
14-year old Emmett Till was murdered after allegedly whistling at a white woman in Money, Miss. Till was tortured and murdered. Witnesses recall the trial as `gruesome, gut-wrenching, and brutal.' The boy was dragged out of his bed at two o'clock in the morning, beaten, shot, and thrown into the Tallahatchie river, weighed down by a heavy fan tied to his neck with barbed wire. His mother identified the body when it was returned to Chicago a week after his death. Roy Bryant and his half brother, J.W Milam confessed that they were the ones that had killed Till.
