  • Inspired by the story of a young japanese girl named Sadako Sasaki.
  • She was 2 when the bomb dropped but she was not harmed at the time.
  • In November 1954 she was diagnosed with Leukemia.
  • While she was in the hospital she began to make paper cranes all the time, she completed over 1000 before she died on October 25, 1955.
