The Book Break
O. Henry's At-Home Library Newsletter: Week of May 4th, 2020
The prequel to the hunger games is coming may 19th!
The much anticipated prequel to the Hunger Games series is coming out May 19th! Pre-order your personal copy by shopping local at Book People. I know I'll be reading it while stuck in quarantine. I will also be purchasing a few ebook copies in Sora as it becomes available. Happy reading!
What is ms. cross currently reading?
This week I've been reading Look Both Ways, by Jason Reynolds. Follow multiple middle schoolers' perspectives in a tale of ten blocks in a neighborhood that describe their walks home. Maybe that sounds basic, but it's not at all! Readers will laugh, possible cry, and find connection amongst the characters Reynolds has carefully molded for the reader. This is a great short read available in audiobook and ebook format in Sora.
