College Goal Sunday- Free help to complete FAFSA
Save the date: Sunday, October 28, 2018 3-5 p.m. at Riverside Library and Cultural Center, 3700 St. Evans, Colorado.
Financial aid counselors will be available to assist you with college financial aid. There will be scholarship drawing opportunities for Aims and UNC students.
To complete the FAFSA, please bring:
- -State issued ID
- -2017 W-2 Forms and other records of money earned (Including tax returns, if available)
- -Current bank statements
- -Current business and investment and mortgage information, business and farm records, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other investment records
- -Your alien registration card (if you are not a US Citizen)
Winter Sports Registration!
Winter Sports Registration is now underway - Monday, October 22 thru Thursday, November 8! All athletes playing a winter sport (including those that are currently participating in fall sports) must register and obtain their WINTER SPORTS PERMIT by the deadline of Thursday, November 8 in order to participate on the first official day of practice/tryouts on Monday, November 12.
Athletes must register and obtain their permit by going to the Windsor High School athletics website at windsorwizards.org. Click on the Winter Sports Registration tab, read and follow the instructions carefully, and then submit all required items listed in the instructions to Sandee Legino in the Athletics Department (Room B114). The link to complete the online registration form portion of the sports registration process is now activated. Please note that NO REFUNDS will be granted after Monday, November 26.
Senior Pictures
Senior pictures, childhood photos (for the graduation slideshow), quotes and signatures are due by November 2nd. Please submit both senior and childhood photos online at tinyurl.com/WizardSeniorPics. Photos must be at least 300 dpi, and senior pictures must be in vertical/portrait format. Students will need to submit quotes and signatures in the senior binder located in the library. Students should choose inspirational words from an author, singer, or another inspirational source for their quote which may be no more than 180 characters and must be school appropriate. To ensure the standardization of our yearbook design, please check with your child about the quote they plan to submit and remind them to follow the additional guidelines below when selecting.
- Quotes must include a source. Anonymous sources will not be accepted.
- Do not submit anything that is not commonly understandable
- Do not submit specific references or shout-outs to others
- Do not submit quotes attributed to other students or teachers (family members may be an exception)

2019–2020 District Boundary Changes
The Weld RE-4 School District is examining school boundaries district-wide in an effort to fix imbalances in elementary and middle school populations due to enrollment growth concentrated in certain areas of our district, as well as to create a boundary for the new Severance High School (opening Fall 2019).
Please mark your calendar for the following 2018 public meetings to learn more:
· Tuesday, October 23rd at 7:00 pm, at Severance Middle School
· Thursday, October 25th at 7:00 pm, at Grandview Elementary School
· Monday, October 29th at 5:30 pm, at Windsor High School
The Weld RE-4 Board of Education is tentatively scheduled to vote on boundary changes in December 2018. Families will receive new boundary information in January 2019. Check the district website for updates.
