Davis Staff Monday Memo
Building Better Brains!
A man and his wife went fishing one beautiful morning. Before he knew it they were surrounded by hundreds of alligators. Nervously, his wife said, "What should we do?" The man though for a minute, and said," Shoot the biggest one that is closest to the boat."
By now school is in full swing and your plate is getting full so I just want to challenge you to always keep in perspective what truly matters. Have a very relaxing weekend.

Spotlight on Professional Learning
Pepper
Here is the description from, Teach Like A Champion,
Pepper is a fast-paced, group-oriented activity to review familiar information and foundational skills. A teacher tosses questions to a group of students quickly, and they answer back. If the answer is wrong, the teacher will ask the same question to another student. They do not slow down for discussion. This is a fast-paced, unpredictable review of fundamentals with lots of chances for participation in rapid succession.Frequently Asked Questions
