Spotlight on Belle River Elementary
We had a SUPER September here at Belle River! It was an exciting start to the school year seeing all of our Sailors again, face to face and virtually. The building is full of smiling faces and lots of learning again. Our Belle River teachers and support staff made coming back to school extra special with all of their special touches in their classrooms and around our building. Everything was so bright and welcoming. The ECSD Technology Department did an amazing job helping to make sure our staff and students had all of the tools we need to have a successful year. We are grateful for our Tech Team. The Belle River custodial staff made sure we came back to a sparkling clean building with lots of room for us to move and learn safely. We are off to a great start!
Picture Day was Wednesday, September 30th. It was a fun way to end September. All of our students brought their best smiles. It was a special day for us because during the afternoon we even got to see many of our virtual learners when they came to have their pictures taken too. It sure was nice to see everyone. It was a busy, busy day full of lots of flashes, smiles, and snazzy outfits!
Belle River Staff Spotlights
We feel very fortunate to have an amazing team at Belle River. We would like to introduce you to some of our Belle River staff who work hard each day to make our days GREAT! First we have Mrs. Drinkwine and Mrs. Waelens in our main office. They answer A LOT of questions and keep everything running smoothly each day with KINDNESS and SMILES! They make our day!
Next, we have our AMAZING lunch crew! We are so fortunate to have Ms. Brenda, Ms. Nicole, Ms. Joy, Ms. Denise and Ms. Tracy. They keep our students safe and happy in the cafeteria and on the playgrounds during lunch time. They open a lot of milks, wipe up lots of spills, tie shoes, and make sure hands are clean all with KINDNESS and lots of SMILES too! We are grateful for you all.
Ms. Lauren and Ms. Rachel fill our tummies and our HEARTS here at Belle! They are the best. They make sure we have yummy choices for breakfast and lunch each day. They are always KIND and offer lots of SMILES to our hungry students. Thank you for all you do!
Last, but certainly not least, this is Patrick and Tonya! They are the VERY BEST custodians around. They are always moving and grooving through the halls of Belle making sure everything is clean and safe for our students and staff. They are never too busy for a KIND word or a quick SMILE! Thank you for making Belle River SPECTACULAR!
At Belle River...WE DO KIND!
